Mark
Steven Nestor, M.D., Ph.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist,
dermatologic surgeon and laser surgeon practicing in Aventura,
Florida. He is a clinical assistant professor of Dermatology
and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of
Miami, School of Medicine. Dr. Nestor’s primary focus
is cosmetic laser treatments and he is a world-renowned expert
in use of lasers on the skin and skin lesions.
Dr.
Nestor received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from U.C.L.A.
School of Medicine and did his dermatology residency at New
York University Medical Center. During his residency he
received extensive clinical training on cutaneous laser
surgery. Over the last ten years Dr. Nestor has continued to
work and further his research in cutaneous laser surgery and
has been on the forefront of the advancements in techniques
and treatments for laser resurfacing, hair removal and
non-ablative technology. He has lectured extensively all over
the world on various aspects of laser treatment and has
provided both initial and advanced training to thousands of
physicians world-wide. He is on the clinical advisory board of
the world’s foremost laser corporations and continues his
clinical research and study to this day.
Dr.
Nestor has extensive history of research, multiple awards and
fellowships, and numerous publications in the field of laser
surgery. He has established the Center for Cosmetic
Enhancement in Aventura as one of the top Laser Centers in the
world. The center presently utilizes twelve lasers on a
permanent basis to treat a variety of cosmetic and clinical
conditions with state-of-the-art equipment.
Dr.
Nestor offers his patients specially formulated skin care
products for use as part of a physician supervised skin care
regimen. An office based Aesthetician is always available to
perform professional facials.
